I grew up in... Waseca, Minnesota
I went to college at... University of Minnesota, Twin Cities for my undergraduate education and University of Denver for my graduate degree.
I majored in... Psychology and Marketing, and I have a graduate degree in School Counseling.
My favorite thing about school was... friends, sports, and marching band.
In my free time, I... enjoy running, yoga, scrapbooking, hanging out with my husband and 3 kids.
I love being a school counselor because... I love the variety!  Love helping kids achieve their goals - academically or personally.

I grew up in... St. Louis Park, Minnesota
I went to college at... Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota for my undergraduate education, and Minnesota State University, Mankato for my graduate degree.
I majored in... Sociology, and I have a graduate degree in Professional School Counseling.
My favorite thing about school was... band and theater!  I was a total band geek (proud of it!!) and I spent a lot of time in the band room.  I also participated in 12 theater productions during high school in various capacities ranging from tech crews to lead roles.
In my free time, I... love to sing, spend time with my husband and two dogs, read, paint, bike, and binge-watch TV shows on Netflix.
I love being a school counselor because... seeing students achieve their goals and overcome obstacles is so exciting and rewarding!

I grew up in... Anoka, Minnesota
I went to college at... Minnesota State University for my undergraduate education and a graduate program, and The College of St. Scholastica for another graduate program.
I majored in... Family and Consumer Science Education, and I have two graduate degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and Secondary School Counseling.
My favorite thing about school was... graduating!  Having every program completed was such a sense of accomplishment!
In my free time, I... read, decorate, garden, spend time with family and friends, and love walking (and training) our high energy puppy.
I love being a school counselor because... I love the high school age level.  Students are more mature, interesting, and so much fun to work with!  I honestly feel that whether or not they realize it, students teach me something new every day.

I went to college at... Austin Technical College, Ridgewater Community College, Minnesota State University - Moorhead, and Minnesota State University - Mankato.
I majored in... Radio/TV Broadcasting and Special Education, and I have a graduate degree in School Counseling.
My favorite thing about school was... lunch and hanging with my friends.
In my free time, I... hang with my 3 dogs, read, play women's hockey, go to Wild, Vikings, Twins, Gophers, and Lynx games, and travel to warm, sunny places.
I love being a school counselor because... it is different every day.  I get to hang out with really awesome kids every day.  I get to be in on the college and academic planning and get to be a source of support for students struggling in their personal lives.
